Overview of Academics
The Carey School is committed to the development of an academic course of study that broadens students’ perspectives, enriches their lives, and makes them more well-rounded. Our basic curriculum focuses on reading, language arts, and math with instruction in social studies, history, geography, and study skills. Students also attend enrichment classes that complement the curriculum, such as foreign language, art, music, science, technology, physical education, and library.
The Standards section of Academics includes information from every classroom about their special units of study, field trips, projects, and more. To get a glimpse of these exciting activities, please visit this section.
Student Life at The Carey School involves a variety of activities and opportunities that combine learning and fun. We have showcased a few of these in our Student Life section, such as The Carey Chronicle, Student Forum, Bake Sales, and Artwork.
The Daycare and After School Enrichment sections provides information about the programs that are available outside of regular school hours. We invite you to click on the links to the left for more specific information about all of these topics related to academics at The Carey School.
