Spirit Day

Spirit Day was great!   Everyone was full of spirit.   The whole Carey School wore red and white!   The skit and rules of the CareyFest/Walk-a-thon were great.   Kenzie, Haley, and Elizabeth did a good job on the skit and so did the other people talking about the rules!   The conga line at the end was also wonderful!   Spirit Day was an awesome day and I was happy to lead the assembly!

Music From the Heart Assembly

On Wednesday, September 12, 2007, we had a very exciting day at The Carey School. I was happy to be the leader of this assembly.   The music teachers from Music From the Heart came for an assembly to talk about their after school music program.   They introduced their program by showing instruments such as the saxophone, clarinet, drums, flute, trumpet, and piano.   They also picked some lucky volunteers to come up and play some instruments.   The students at the assembly seemed engaged and joyous. This was truly one of the greatest times at The Carey School.
