Applying for Tuition Assistance (New Students)

October 1, 2008 through February 6, 2009	- Request tuition assistance application form. - Tuition Assistance Application forms mailed out. - Call or meet with Carey’s Director of Finance to discuss questions regarding the application process and/or the filling out of forms.
February 6, 2009	- Completed application form and copies of families’ last three years of Income Tax Returns must be submitted to The Carey School business office. - No new requests will be accepted after February 6, 2009.
Note: There is a 2-3 week turn-around time between submission of required forms to School and Student Service and the return of School and Student Service reports to The Carey School.
March 19, 2009	- Families notified.

Applying for Tuition Assistance (Returning Students)

October 2008 through January 2009	- Request tuition assistance application form. - Tuition Assistance Application forms mailed out. - Call or meet with Carey’s Director of Finance to discuss questions regarding the application process and/or the filling out of forms.
January 8	- Last date to turn in Income Tax Returns (if requested). - Last day to turn in Tuition Assistance Applications. No new requests will be accepted after January 8, 2009.
Note: There is a 2-3 week turn-around time between submission of required forms to School and Student Service and the return of School and Student Service reports to The Carey School.
February 4-8	- Applications and reports from School and Student Services reviewed by the Financial Assistance Committee.
February 8	- Families notified.
