Support
The Carey School
There are many ways to support The Carey School. Financial support opportunities
include contributing annually to the Annual Fund or purchasing a granite
tile at the Alumni Walkway. Alumni volunteers also support The Carey School
through a very special kind of donation: The Gift of Time.
Annual
Fund
Like most independent schools, The Carey School depends on the financial
gifts from our school community (that includes current families, alumni
and their families, grandparents, faculty, staff and administration) to
bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual operating budget
for providing excellent education to Carey School students.
The Annual Fund is The Carey School’s annual giving campaign that supports the school's operating budget. It provides up to 10% of Carey's operating revenue, which must grow every year as the operating budget increases. These gifts allow The Carey School to continue to provide students with outstanding programs, dedicated teachers, continuous facility improvements, and a diverse school community. Alumni Tile Recognition Program
A donation to The Carey School provides a wonderful opportunity to recognize
on a permanent basis your family and child, a class or classmate, a teacher
or individual who influenced your life at The Carey School.
Donations of $1,000 and above will be permanently recognized using personally engraved Granite tiles placed within the “Alumni Walkway” which is part of the new school entrance. By making a gift to The Carey School or by joining with
members of your family or classmates in making a contribution, you will
be ensuring the future of quality, independent education which begun 74
years ago by the Carey family. Your gift or pledge can be tailored to
suit your needs.
Endowment
Besides giving to the Annual Fund, you may choose to give to The Carey
School’s endowment. Your endowment gift can help ensure the same
quality academic and enrichment programs are available for all future
Carey School students.

and our students through involvement of various school and alumni related
