Cinco de mayo was commemorated this year with a special assembly lead by the 5th grade Spanish classes. Each 5th grade student presented a first person narrative of a Mexican citizen who has made a significant cultural impact. As a special treat, each student received a cup of delicious Mexican hot chocolate!
